The week of Santos Tour Down Under is a cycling holiday not to be missed!! Our package combines the stunning scenery of the Adelaide area, the great Aussie summer climate and a chance to soak up the atmosphere of a professional bike race.
You can secure your spot on our 2023 tour now. We offer a full refund on your deposit up to two weeks after our ride itinerary is announced, should the confirmed details not suit your holiday plans.
Our 2023 tour will start with a midday pick up from Adelaide Airport, followed by all of the early evening action of the Adelaide street race.
The proposed itinerary for the next eight days includes a combination of rides based in the Adelaide Hills and surrounding areas, incorporating selected stage finishes along with key points along the race route. We love riding along the Adelaide coast (and enjoying it’s cafes) and this is included in the ride itinerary for 2023. The Challenge Tour ride is traditionally on Friday and 2023 will no doubt be the same format – we wait with anticipation for the 2023 distance and route, but expect about 130-150km. The key stage finish on Willunga Hill is sure to feature again for 2023 – and we will be there.
On the final day of our 2023 tour we’ll enjoy a relaxed breakfast, reflecting on what a fantastic week of riding we have had. We will transfer you to Adelaide Airport by late morning.
Fancy an extra night or two pre or post tour? We can arrange this for you for $150pp per night including breakfast (Studio Apartment – Share Twin). Extra nights as a single are $235pp per night including breakfast (Studio Apartment – Single)
The Santos Tour Down Under has a difficulty rating of 2 stars, with a combination of flat and rolling/hill rides on most days and several options for shorter or longer rides. While you don’t need to be a racer, a good level of general fitness is required to enjoy this tour. Remember no rides are compulsory.
